The billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, has lost his father, Alhaji Yakubu Jimoh, two months after the death of his mother.
The old man died on Sunday in his hometown of Igbotako in Ondo State.
A bricklayer by profession, Pa Jimoh was estranged from his son.
This online newspaper could not immediately confirm the cause of death, but a source close to the family said it might not be unconnected to the manner in which Ibrahim’s mother died.
Madam Theresa Jimoh died in a fire accident at her Victoria Garden City (VGC) residence in Lagos in January.
Jimoh Ibrahim clocked 52 on February 24, one month to his father’s death.
