Delta Air Lines says a passenger on board its flight DL54 traveling from Atlanta, USA to Lagos, Nigeria yesterday (March 11, 2019) died in the course of the flight.
“The passenger was found unresponsive before landing,” the airline said in a statement.
“Local medical professionals met the plane upon arrival and confirmed the passenger had sadly passed away.
Delta Airlines extends its deepest condolences to the family at this sad time. As a matter of passenger privacy, Delta Airlines will not release additional information for now,” the airline added.
