StarTimes continues expansion, introduces 3 new channels

A digital company, StarTimes, has continued its expansion, as it has introduced new channels to its bouquet this December.

Ngbati and Arewa Television, both language channels, will be aired on channel 137 and channel 138 respectively. The third channel, U-Laff TV, will be aired on channel 131.

The Brand and Marketing Director, StarTimes Nigeria, Qasim Elegbede, in a statement on Friday, said that the development was necessary so as to continue to add values to the society.

He said, “This is a great time for us. We are excited about our new channels and the role of StarTimes in promoting local content and cultural values. This is a true testament to our vision to transform the pay TV landscape in the country and make digital television services a must-have for all Nigerians. Subscribers can now look out for more interesting movies and series in Hausa and Igbo languages and local English comedy.”
