Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II and Queen Wuraola-Zynab Ogunwusi’s marriage has allegedly crashed as he was said to have made It known to the family of the estranged queen that he is no longer interested in the union.
Inside sources described the marriage as a sham, plagued by suspicion, hatred and devoid of love; they accused Olori of many unpublishable things and lack of commitment to her marital vows. Even as you read she is not on talking terms with her in-laws. The allegations are as wide as they are wild.
Curiously, however, on arrival from a trip recently, Olori Wuraola scurried to the home of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to intervene and probably advise her husband not to be influenced to dump her like a bad habit and get another wife.
Fresh report however indicated that a new Olori has been picked and would be unveiled soon. The new Olori is said to hail from Yoruba land as agains Olori Wuraola who hailed from Benin in Edo state.
A reliable source was quoted to have said: “The new queen will be unveiled by the end of the month or sometime in September”
Our source further added: “The king of the Yorubas can not be a bachelor.”
Wuraola who was said to have been previously married to a former governor and a lebanese expatriate had since left the Ooni’s palace in Ile-Ife and relocated to Lagos.
