Floyd Mayweather confirms plan to visit Lagos in June [VIDEO]

Retired American boxer and President of The Money Gang (TMT), Floyd Mayweather, has confirmed that he plans to be in Nigeria from June 12 to 14 this year.

In a short video uploaded on YouTube, Mayweather revealed he was making the trip to “the motherland”.

“Friends, what’s up? It’s the one and only Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. Nigeria, June 12, June 13 and June 14. Nigeria, the motherland. I see you guys soon. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather,” he said in the clip.

Mayweather retired from his boxing  after he earned a unanimous decision over Andre Berto in September 2015.

With that victory, he equalled the perfect 49-0 record of heavyweight legend, Rocky Marciano, and retained his WBA and WBC titles.
