NCAA gets new directors

The Federal Government of Nigeria Monday approved the appointment of five new Directors and one General Manager for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Those that were appointed and their designations are Group Captain Edem Oyo-Ita, (Director of Air Transport Regulations, DATR), Ahmed Abbas Sanusi (Director, Human Resources and Administration, DHR & ADMIN), Bilikisu Adamu Sani, (Director of Finance and Accounts, DFA).
Others are Odunowo Tayyib Adetunji (Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards, DAAS), Ita Awak, (Director of Airworthiness Standards, DAWS), Lawrence Mathew Kwajok, (General Manager, Air Navigational Standards (ANS)
A statement by the NCAA Spokesman, Sam Adurogboye, said all appointments are with immediate effect.
The government had on Friday approved the sack some directors in NCAA with immediate effect.
But 24 hours later, the government recalled the duo of Adamu Abdullahi, Director of Consumer Protection, and Ayodele Sasegbon, Director of General Aviation.
The directors affected by the purge were Salawu Ozigi (Director of Finance and Accounts), Joyce Nkemakolam (Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards) and Aba Ejembi (Director of Administration).
Others are Emmanuel Ogunbami (Director of Licensing), Benedict Adeyileka (Director of Airworthiness), Justus Wariya (Director of Air Transport Regulation) and Austin-Amadi Ifeanyi (Director of Human Resources).
