Just nine days after the shocking death of Henrietta Kosoko, another Nollywood icon has passed on.
An actor in the yoruba genre of the industry, Abdul Lateef Titilope, better known as Itakure who often features in Odunlade Adekola’s movies, died Saturday night after two days of mild Malaria fever.
According to a statement released by family members today, the deceased has since been laid to his final resting place at his family house in Ile Egbaunta, Agunpopo area of Oyo town.
Late Lateef Itakure, who is well known as an Islamic cleric in movies and highly ranked among the best scriptwriters in Yoruba movies.
This year alone, more than five Nollywood actors have died. They include Sikiru Adeshina aka Arakangudu, Fatai Onibuade, Mike Odachi, Genevieve Nene, Fred Eketa
