The attention of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been drawn to the publication on Monday 13 June 2016 with the title “Arm Scandal: Air Force to retire AVMs, Commodores”.
According to NAF Director of Public Relations & Informationtion, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, the publication alleged that the NAF is at the verge of retiring a number of senior officers connected with the ongoing investigation of arms purchase under the immediate past administration.
It is pertinent to state that this story is unfounded and did not emanate from the NAF. The Press is therefore please advised to always confirm their story with the NAF before publication.
