Giwa bundled out by staff as he arrived to take over NFF office

Barrister Chris Giwa again on Friday stormed the Secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja.

But this time around, reports had it that Giwa and his co-travellers were thrown out of the secretariat by staff who became angry over the development.
According to reports,  Giwa had brandished a court order, which he said empowered him to take over the affairs of the football house, when he arrived at the Secretariat.

He was said to have arrived in a convoy of cars at about the time for the Friday Jumat service around 2pm.

Those with Giwa included Effiong Johnson, Sani Fema, Rumson Baribote, Ben Agary, Yahaya Adama, Jide Fashikun, Fatai Olayinka and Abdulazeez Mohammed.
Some sources alleged that the team was accompanied by thugs.

The entrance door was reportedly locked when the team arrived, but it was broken down.
They were alleged to have harassed members of staff.
Dr. Christian Emeruwa, the National Security Officer and Special Assistant to the NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, was reportedly was pushed by one of the thugs.
Staff members in the administration department were also shoved around.

Tunde Aderibigbe, NFF’s Coordinator of Political Matters, and Ademola Olajire, Head of Communications, were reportedly punched by one of the thugs.
It was at this stage that members of staff were said to have decided that enough was enough.

Bola Oyeyode, the Director of Competitions), Olajire, Aderibigbe, Emeruwa and other staff rallied to repel the group.
With the assistance of policemen, the Giwa group was eventually dislodged from the Glass House.
