It has been a week since Lekan Shode allegedly killed his wife Ronke Shonde. It has been three days since he turned himself in to the police. Reports indicate that in that time the suspect has refused meal and has gone on a hunger strike.
He had allegedly killed his wife after fearing that she’d leave him for a new lover, her boss, Mr. Kayode Eyitayo Oluokun,
It has been reported that Ronke carried on an affair with Oluokun and had stored his name as ‘Eyitemi’
Oluokun as so far remained silent on the matter even after claims by the suspect that he had reached out to beg him over the matter.
Lekan Shonde had alleged that Ronke and Oluokun had spent 5 days together in Abuja carrying on their affair.
Reports gathered that the autopsy on the deceased was carried out yesterday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
The result will be ready in two days.
