Two officers, 22 soldiers wounded in clash with Boko Haram

No fewer than two officers and 22 soldiers were wounded in the clash troops had with Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State on Monday.

Available information has it that the soldiers have since been evacuated to the hospital for treatment.

This runs contrary to reports that the troops suffered massive casualty during the encounter of the 113 Battalion located in Kareto, the northern part of Borno State with the terrorists.

The troops were attacked at their location by Boko Haram terrorists said to be bearing heavy and superior arms in the wee hours of Monday.
