4 Dead As Boko Haram Attacks Another Village

The deadly terrorist group, Boko Haram has yet again attacked a Borno village, killing four people.

The attack, which occurred on the night of Thursday, February 11, 2016, was confirmed by Mr. Ahmed Satomi, the chairman of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency.

According to Satomi, the attack occurred at Shuwari Village in Konduga Local Government Area, about 13 kilometers from Maiduguri. The Islamist terrorists stormed the village, killed four civilians, looted food items, then burnt down the village.

Some of the residents fled for safety to nearby Dalori internally displaced persons (IDP) camp and the state capital, Maiduguri.

“We have gone to the village on Friday in the morning to evacuate the victims; four people were killed, they looted and carted away the food items after they set the whole village ablaze,” the emergency rescue agency boss told Punch.

President Muhammadu Buhari, this week, told the German President, Joachim Gauck who was in Nigeria on a state visit that Boko Haram was not holding any territory in the country.
