Woman arrested after beating frigid husband with nunchucks

Sondra Earle-Kelly, 51, spent the night in a Charlotte, North Carolina, police cell after her unnamed husband refused stop watching TV and have sex with her. The enraged woman pounced upon her lover, throwing ceramic figurines and whatever she could pick up at him.

At one point, she grabbed a pair of nunchucks (a traditional martial arts weapon consisting of two sticks connected at one end by a short chain or rope) and began hitting him in the face, neck and hands.

When police officers arrived at the couple’s home on Sunday, January 24, they found the injured man and the walls covered in blood. Mrs Earle-Kelly also had several cuts on her belly that were later identified as self-inflicted.

She was taken to the local hospital for treatment, and then to the city jail, while her husband refused hospitalization. The woman believed to be on anti-anxiety pills Xanax during the incident. She was charged with aggravated domestic violence, spent the night behind bars and was released the next day on $15,000 bond.
