The appearance on Wednesday of Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was a memorable one as the presiding judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja exempted himself from hearing the case.
The judge cited the inability of the Federal Government to respect previous court judgments as the reason for his decision to step down from the case, after Kanu refused to take his plea.
Kanu is facing a fresh six-count charge bordering on terrorism.
