Women Who Have Kids in their 30s Give Birth to Smarter Kids – Study

0

A recent research published in the Journal Biodemography and Social Biology suggests that women who have kids in their 30s are more likely to have smarter children.

However babies conceived to women in their 40s are more likely to have impaired cognitive development and they could be obese.

The research was carried out on a sample size of 18,000 British children.

The London School of Economics researchers used the data from the long-term study to reach the conclusion on the impact of a mother’s age on a child.

Lead Researcher, Alice Goisis reportedly said “First-time mothers in their 30s are, for example, likely to be more educated, have higher incomes, are more likely to be in stable relationships, have healthier lifestyles, seek prenatal care earlier and have planned their pregnancies”.
