The Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi, Benue State has nullified the election of a former President of the Senate, David Mark, to the Senate.

The court delivered its verdict in the suit brought before it by Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress on Saturday.

Mark was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The Court of Appeal ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a fresh election into the Benue South Senatorial District seat.

Reacting to the development, Onjeh said: “Hurray!
