Authority of West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, on Tuesday, announced the release of results for the first diet of its private candidate examination.
Head of National Office (HNO), Mr. Olu Adenipekun, who announced the results said candidates have been receiving details of their performances simultaneously.
Newsmen confirmed that candidates that wrote the examination that ended in September have been receiving details of the result.
A parent, Mr. Jamiu Popoola, whose child sat for the examination confirmed the receipt of the result.
He commended the management of WAEC for the feat and deployment of technology, saying that it had saved candidates from endless wait the always characterised the examination in the past.
