Atiku emerges PDP Presidential Candidate

Former Vice President, H. E. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has won the PDP Presidential Primary. According to the official count, he won the presidential candidacy with 1,532 votes.

Atiku defeated the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, who polled 317 and 693 votes respectively.

Other numbers collated has former Senate President. David Mark polling 35 votes, Datti Ahmed, 5, Jonah Jang scored 19 votes and Tanimu Turaki polled 65 votes.

Sule Lamido scored 96 votes. Attahiru Bafarawa scored 48. Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo scored 111 votes and Ahmed Makarfi polled 74 votes.

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso polled polled 158 votes.
68 votes were declared invalid.
