Oby Ezekwesili blames Buhari govt for Nigeria’s recession

A former Education minister, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari government for the recession that affected Nigeria within the past three years.

The BringBackOurGirls campaigner, however, noted that Buhari would have averted the recession from hitting Nigeria with good policies.

“It is because of the oil price that collapsed from $100billion to about $50 billion.

“There were no right policies in place and the problem was that this Buhari led government did not adjust using the right economic policies and approach to avert the recession that hit Nigeria at that time.”
