Nigerians turn up enmasse for GTBank Food and Drink Fair 2018

The GTBank Food and Drink Fair 2018 is beehive of activities as Lagosians and Nigerians as a whole turned up en masse. From the main entrance gate located on Water Corporation Drive on Oniru-Lekki, to the Street Food Corner on the carpet grass within the premises to the covered building, guests and visitor could be seen hurriedly taking their ‘branded fans’ heading straight for their ‘fooding’ journey and classes. Food and drink tasters, shoppers, sightseers, window shoppers and expert chefs were all having the fun of their lives.

This year, the award winning Bank is paying attention to opening the Nigerian ‘food market’ to huge and diverse consumers while also promoting enterprises in the most appealing way. Visitor were seeing taking order of their local dishes such as Suya, Dun Dun, Abacha, Egusi, Afang, Ewedu etc.

The 2018 masterclasses were not left out in the fun and excitement, as the chefs showcase their cooking skills in the most entertaining manner. One Chef who captivated audience with his Italian sea food cuisine was Chef Benedict Okuzu.
Chef Benedict mantle of authority in the kitchen was handed him by two great institutions: le Cordon Bleu Firenze (Scuola d’arte Culinaria Italiana), and Carpigiani Gelato University, Bologna and he grew up in the Italian city of Florence.

Over 144 food and confectionery business entrepreneurs are currently taking part in the three day fair which ends on the first of May 2018. The number of guests/visitors is expected to be tripled since May first is a public national holiday. Kudos to GTBank for a successful 2018 Food and Drink Fair.
