President Muhammadu Buhari has tendered an apology to members of the national assembly over a row with security personnel earlier on Thursday.
Led by Senate President Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, the legislators reportedly left the presidential villa in anger after security operatives insisted on screening them.
They were scheduled to have a dinner with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Both leaders comprising those of the Green and Red chambers were being led to the dinner scheduled for 8:30pm by Senate President Bukola Saraki.
