The Kogi State commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu, has been transferred.
Inalegwu has been transferred to Plateau State.
Also affected in the shake-up in the police command is OC SARS, SP Bimbo who was transferred to Borno State.
Their transfer from Kogi State according to sources is connected to the crisis that rocked the State House of Assembly where thugs invaded the house and attacked the member representing Igalamela Odolu constituency, Friday Sanni Makama.
The said incident also resulted in the resignation of Umar Ahmed Imam as Speaker of the Assembly.
Confirming this development, the Kogi Police Public Relations Officer, Asp William Aya said that the command received the letter on Tuesday, 12th September, 2017.
He added that Ali Jaga is to replace the outgoing police commissioner.
