The Federal Road Safety Corps has cleared the three containers that fell on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the early hours of Wednesday.
The containers, which blocked both sides of the road at the Magboro/Mountain of Fire and Miracles axis, led to a major gridlock.
The spokesman of the FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, confirmed the removal of the containers in a text message to The Eagle Online.
Kazeem said the containers have been removed and “normal free flow of traffic restored”.
He, however, urged motorists to be cautious on that part of the road.
