The body of doctor Allwell Orji who committed suicide by jumping off the Third Mainland Bridge into the Lagoon has been discovered by the Marine Police.
A police source told our correspondent that Allwell’s mother had been contacted to come for the identification of the body.
“The body of the doctor was found at about 11.30am. We want to be double sure and his parent has been called to come and identify the body,” the source said.
Orji jumped into the Lagoon on Sunday evening after he told his driver to stop on the Third Mainland bridge.
He came out of the car after receiving a phone call and jumped into the Lagoon to the consternation of onlookers.
