The General superintendent of Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Chidi Okoroafor, has extended an olive branch to those who fought against the Church, saying that there was no victor no vanquished.
Briefing newsmen at his Enugu residence at the weekend, shortly after his return from South Africa where he had attended the Assemblies of God Alliance’s (AGA) meeting, made up of General Superintendents of AG from about 50 nations, said only God deserved the glory for the Supreme Court judgment which validated his leadership of the church.
The apex court had last week Friday, dismissed an appeal filed by former General Superintendent, Rev.Paul Emeka on the grounds that his case lacked merit and substance.
