Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America.
He was sworn in Friday afternoon by Chief Justice John Roberts at the Capitol Hill, Washington D.C.
The Republican Billionaire Businessman, defied all odds when he defeated Democratic rival, Hilary Clinton, in the November 8, 2016 Presidential election.
The inauguration ceremony makes it the first time Hilary Clinton and Trump are meeting face to face since after the elections last year.
The Inauguration will be followed by a parade up Pennsylvania Avenue and then a weekend of balls and an anticipated flurry of new executive actions Monday.
Trump enters the White House without most of his cabinet picks.
Recall that the newly elected U.S President had been widely criticized by both the Democratic and Republican Parties, largely due to his campaign strategy.

Trump had earlier today attended a church service with his family, alongside Vice President-elect Mike Pence and his family alongside Cabinet designees, other family members and friends.
Afterwards he and Melania went to attend a White House tea reception hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Pence and his family were also be in attendance.
Trump told supporters at a luncheon at his Washington hotel Thursday, less than 24-hours to his inauguration, that he is preparing to use the presidential pen to sign some “very meaningful” documents.
