WAI Schedules End Year Celebration Dec 16th

One of Nigeria’s uniformed Para-military volunteer organization; War Against Indiscipline (WAI) is set to hold its 2016 End of the Year party on Friday, December 16th in order to celebrate the year’s achievements. Themed “Change Begins With Me: Expectations and Effect on WAI Brigade Volunteers”, the event is an Investiture of Patrons and Award Ceremony and also includes the launch of 2017 Almanac.  It will be organized at the body’s state headquarters at Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja, by 12noon.

According to the State Commander, Senior Comrade Gabriel Adeoye (AMCP), “WAI Brigade was formed 31 years ago, and since then we’ve been doing the tremendous job of reducing crime rates. We have come a long way, and we feel there is a need to celebrate our achievements at the end of every year. At this year’s party, we are going to award those who in no small measures have contributed their quota to the organization and Nigeria as a whole through their selfless services, and we will be launching the 2017 Almanac too, amongst other activities. We hope to have a nice time, and so we enjoin every of our members to be present.”

Founded by the Buhari/Idiagbon administration in 1984, War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade is Nigeria’s indigenous uniformed Para-military volunteer organization with commitment of members to nationwide fight against corruption and other sharp anti-social practices in Nigeria.
