It was a show of opulence and the gathering of billionaires, politicians, oil and gas players and celebrities as Folarin Alakija Son of Folorunshi Alakija weds Naganin Khosro. Naganin is the daughter of Tehran, Iran-based businessman Khosro and Nooshin Ghaissarifar.
The wedding took place at the Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday, November 19, 2016. This will be Folarin’s second marriage as he lost his first wife Chena to cancer a few years back. Folarin is one of the four sons of the richest woman in Africa Folorunsho Alakija.
Among the dignitaries in attendance include Aisha Buhari, wife of the president, Gimbiya Yakubu Dogara, wife of the speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, deputy governor, Lagos state, Oluranti Adebule and Oluwatoyin Saraki, wife of the Senate president, first ladies of Lagos, Kogi, Imo states among others.
