Paris Robbery: Kim Kardashian Files Hefty Insurance Claim For Stolen Jewellery

Kim Kardashian has reportedly filed an insurance claim to the tune of £4.5million, five days after being robbed in Paris.

The claim falls significantly short of the amount she was thought to have lost, which was originally reported to be around £12million.

TMZ now reports that 13 items were taken in total, including her second engagement ring from Kanye West, valued at £3.2million alone.

A jewelry insurance specialist told the outlet that Kim’s claim will be ‘difficult, both to investigate and to resolve’ because of the high value of the items and the fact it won’t be easy to find replacements of ‘like kind and quality’.

The 20-carat lost ring had the word Adidas engraved onto it, as part of a joke Kanye made. The rapper told Kim as he handed it over: ‘I just did that big Adidas deal, so I got you something from Adidas!’

In the wake of the attack, filming has been suspended on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kim has stopped posting on social media, while her family have cancelled all public appearances.

Needless to say, the internet has been gorging itself on the robbery story, coming up with numerous crazy theories about what actually happened.

The star has been criticised by many – including Karl Lagerfeld and her former bodyguard – for displaying her wealth online, thereby luring in robbers.
