Renowned Nigerian Disc Jockey, Michael Adedoyin popularly known as DJ Midas, has been announced dead by his former management, Silverbird’s Rhythm 93.7FM where he worked until yesterday, September 27th, 2016.
According to a statement released by Rhythm93.7FM, Midas passed on after a brief illness at the age of 45.

“We are sad to announce the passing away of a friend, former colleague and one of the baddest DJs in Nigeria, Michael Adedoyin aka DJ Midas.
“DJ Midas as he is fondly called by his fans and loved ones was one of the pioneers of Disc jockeying in Nigeria. He was adored by many due to his jovial nature as well as his skills on the turntable.
“After working for many years at Silverbird’s Rhythm 93.7FM, he went on to continue his career as a DJ, still delivering top notch entertainment to his many adoring fans.
“Our prayers are with his family at this time even as they mourn his death.
“DJ Midas was 45 years of age.
“Updates will follow concerning his passing away.”
