Justice A.I. Allagoa of the Federal High Court in Owerri, Imo State has affirmed the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
The ruling was on the matter filed by Friday Nwosu against Ikpeazu; Uche Ogah; the Peoples Democratic Party; and the Independent National Electoral Commission on alleged forgery of tax documents by the Governor.
The court ruled that Nwosu was unable to prove that the tax documents where forged.
The court ruled that the tax documents where not forged and went further to dismissed the matter.
