22 Nigerians to feature at US 2016 Entrepreneurship Summit

The United States Embassy says 22 representatives of Nigerian organisations are to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit between June 22 and 24 in the US.
A statement from the embassy said the organisations were among those benefitting from the US entrepreneurial development programme.

It stated they would join more than 700 entrepreneurs from around the world along with investors, speakers and leaders in the entrepreneurship development.
According to the statement, the entrepreneurs would be joined by high-level US Government officials, including President Barack Obama; Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker; and Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Maria Contreras-Sweet.

It stated that the Summit would be the seventh in the series hosted by the US and the governments of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Morocco and Kenya.
The statement stated that in bringing the summit back to the US demonstrated Obama’s commitment to building bridges that would help the international community tackle global challenges together.
