N2bn pension fraud: EFCC arrests suspended PTAD DG, 3 others

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), have arrested the suspended Director-General of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Nelly Mayshak, over an alleged N2. 5 billion fraud.‎
New Telegraph learnt from highly placed sources at the EFCC, that Mayshak, who was arrested alongside Yoab Youssoufou, Patricia Iyogun, and Ruth Imonikhe, had been on indefinite uspension since March, over allegations of fraud said to have been uncovered in PTAD.
PTAD is an independent pension agency established in August 2013, and saddled with the responsibility overseeing the management of pensions under the Defined Benefit Scheme for pensioners not transiting to the defined contributory scheme.
