The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun Wednesday stated that his party will not compromised the Senate President seat at the National Assembly.
Oyegun, who spoke at the National Secretariat of APC, gave the clarification in response to his earlier position in an interview with an online portal that the party can sacrifice the seat of the Senate President for a change should the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) remove the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki.
The opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has threatened to takeover the leadership of the Senate should Saraki resign as the Senate President as a result of his trial.
