Police Arrest Siblings For Burying 2 Alive

For allegedly burying two people alive for stealing the sum of N130,000 belonging to their mother, the Ondo State Police command has arrested two siblings, Omoniyi Alaleran and Oluwaseun Enikuomehin.

The incident happened at Omonira street, Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje local government area of Ondo State on March 12, 2016.

According to the police public relations officer of the command, Mr. Femi Joseph ,the suspects allegedly buried Igbekele Orisabinole and Ogbaro Erinbo alive after torturing them.

It was also revealed that mother, lost a sum of N130,000 and Ogbaro and Orisabunole were accused of stealing the money

After series of accusations, Mrs. Ogunguna informed her two children who thereafter tortured the duo.

According to the investigations, the duo reportedly claimed innocence but their claim was not accepted by Omoniyi Alaleran and Oluwaseun Enikuomehin.

After the severe torture, the suspects allegedly took them (victims) inside a bush, dug a pit and pushed them inside it and then covered the pit, with only the necks of the victims outside the ground.

The police spokesman who further explained that the matter was being handled by the Special Investigative Bureau at the headquarters of the command in Akure, the state capital, said they will soon make their findings public.

His words: “ We are almost concluding investigation on the matter, the suspects will be charged to court very soon.”
