Ahead of the Saturday’s rerun in Rivers State, Minister of Transportation and Leader of the APC in Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has boasted that the All Progressives Congress will defeat the Peoples Democratic Party.
Amaechi, who was in the state to campaign for the party’s candidates in the March 19th State/National Assembly Rerun Elections, stormed Rumueme Ward 10, Obio/Akpo LGA earlier on Monday.
Addressing the crowd, Amaechi warned his predecessor to get set for a shocker as he would attend night club in his village on Friday to celebrate his party’s victory.
He said, “One clear message I will send to Nyesom Wike is, I will come to his village on Friday; I’ll be in the night club because I’m sure we will win.”
Continuing, he assured Rivers people that “if Wike cannot maintain law and order, the Federal government will not abdicate from its responsibility; we will secure the lives of Rivers people.”
