The arrest of Mr. Young Moris, Discipline Master and commander of the vigilante group in Adamawa state by a joint operation led by the popular crime fighter, Alhaji Ali Kwara, for an alleged offence of gun-running has thrown the group into a leadership tussle resulting in the death of seven members..
It was alleged that before the arrest of Young Moris, he had been having a running battle with Sarkin Bakan Gombi (the area chief hunter) Alh. Muhammad Sarkin Yaki, over who to control the vigilante group in Adamawa state created for the fight against insurgency.
As a result of the development , two warring factions emerged, one supported by Moris and the other belonging to Sarkin Bakan Gombi.
