Kwara state Police Command on Monday said there was no iota of truth in the rumour making the rounds in the state that there was an alleged plan by some unknown persons to kidnap the mother of Rotimi Jacob (SAN), prosecuting counsel to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) .
An online medium had over the weekend alleged that there was a grand plan by some unknown persons in the state to kidnap the mother of Jacob as a way to reduce his alleged hard-line posture over the prosecutiion of Senate President Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja.
Hearing on the matter involving Saraki, before the tribunal has been rescheduled for Friday, March 11, this year.
