Saraki, Dogara promote unity at Christmas


Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara yesterday urged Nigerians to ensure that their actions are predicated on peace, love and unity which they said were the virtues needed to rebuild the country. 

In their separate Christmas messages, the leaders preached peace and love among the citizenry. Saraki’s spokesperson Yusuph Olaniyonu said in a statement that the virtues were crucial to the developmental drive of the present administration and to ensure that the country takes her rightful place as a proud member of the international community. 

Dogara, in a statement by his media aide, Turaki Hassan, said Nigerians should use the occasion to extend love to the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) at various camps in the country.
